Congratulations to the winners of the inaugural National Awards for Excellence in the Management of Blood

MKM Health was delighted to be showcasing Blood360 at the recent biannual 2015 National Blood Symposium.

The program included exciting news and innovations around management of blood products in Australia. Co-sponsored by the National Blood Authority, Queensland Health and the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care, the event was held to support Australian health providers to implement Standard 7: Blood and Blood Products of the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.

This year included the inaugural National Awards for Excellence in the Management of Blood and Gala Diner on 11 June. The awards recognised and promoted excellence and innovation associated with the implementation of the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standard 7 –Blood and Blood Products. The award recipients were chosen from case studies that demonstrated excellence and innovation in any aspect of implementing Standard 7, improving appropriate clinical use or increasing the effectiveness and efficiency surrounding the management of blood and blood products.
