MKM Health commenced operation in 2003 as MKM Consulting. It was founded by three senior health IT practitioners from a Big Four professional services firm, to better meet the needs of local health sector clients in Australia.
After initially focusing on the delivery of consulting services, our firm has progressively added the delivery of innovative IT solutions to its core offerings. Consequently we changed our name in 2012 from MKM Consulting to MKM Health to both recognise the broader product and service offerings and to also emphasise our sole focus on the healthcare sector.
Additionally, MKM Health has geographically grown to include operations in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. This expansion across these similar health sectors enables us to leverage competencies, solutions and local innovations for the benefit of our clients in all three regions.
It is our ability to deliver relevant value-add services and innovative solutions year after year that has sustained our many long term client relationships. Our reputation and unique positioning in the health sector has allowed us to form strong strategic alliances with offshore health IT vendors and bring new solutions onshore.
As the firm has grown, we have progressively added to the leadership team with two further working directors joining the initial three directors adding to our specialist business leadership and international health sector experience.
Today, our team are all experienced technically competent consultants that draw on our strong history and deliver successful projects in challenging environments, where process and people will always be as important as technology.
